AIMING FOR A STRONGER WORKING COMMUNITY

EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING INITIATIVES.

WE BELIEVE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT IS ESSENTIAL IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, THEREFORE, WE SUPPORT LOCAL EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING AS WELL AS LOCAL SUPPLIERS ACROSS ALL OF OUR PROJECTS AND DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS.

Our holistic approach to employment and training ensures that new and current employees are supported in ongoing development and upskilling, while working either locally or in remote locations.

Opportunities for our employees expand with each new competency learned or skill mastered, meaning our team is constantly improving and strengthening the communities we operate in.

Our team undertakes accredited and on-the-job training, including apprenticeships, traineeships, certificates, tickets and professional development.

WE’RE ABOUT EQUAL OPPORTUNITY

INDIGENOUS ENGAGEMENT.

WORKING IN REMOTE AREAS OF NORTHERN TERRITORY, GIVES US THE ABILITY TO EMPLOY LOCAL PEOPLE DIRECTLY FROM EACH COMMUNITY WE WORK IN.

We are able to achieve highly successful Indigenous engagement outcomes through our long history working within communities, our many partnerships across the NT and our dedication to ensuring accessible and equitable employment opportunities for Indigenous people.

In addition to this, our Corporate Indigenous Participation Policy stipulates that we allocate roles within each project for Indigenous employees as well as local employees.

To date, we have undertaken joint ventures with inidenous contractors,

hosted Indigenous apprentices, delivered accredited training to our Indigenous employees and supported Indigenous communities through sharing our resources and capacity.
